Creating and running a campaign requires support from the community. We would welcome a discussion from any potential sponsors in relation to supporting and funding our campaigns. We are able to offer a number of avenues for recognition: use of your logo on the video, factsheets, sponsors page, as well as extensive use of social media and traditional media (GEP, radio and TV). Please contact to find out more. Or donate online at

We are extremely grateful to all our sponsors and supporters who have made the We All Matter Eh? Hidden Disabilities campaign real. Without their funding the filming, factsheets and case studies would not have been produced and the voice of islanders with disabilities heard. Thank you

Asperger’s Syndrome

Each individuals with Asperger’s will experience the condition differently, but will demonstrate one or some of the following common characteristics to varying degrees: extreme sensitivity to sensory stimuli such as light, noise and touch; difficulties in social situations and a tendency to adopt repetitive, rigid routines and interests.

Fibromyalgia is often referred to as the ‘invisible illness’ because it is an illness where you often do not look sick. It’s a chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. The fatigue ranges from feeling tired, to the exhaustion of a flu-like illness. It is not life threatening but it can often be life changing. The Guernsey Fibromyalgia Support Group is a non-profit making, self-help support group.

Macular degeneration

Macular degeneration affects central vision creating a blind spot and distorting the surrounding image leaving sufferers to rely on their peripheral vision. Age-related Macular Degeneration “AMD” is the predominant disease, affecting 12% of people over 80, but dystrophies and genetic disorders can impact younger people; there are 70,000 new diagnoses every year. The condition is frustrating, debilitating and devastating for people if they are not getting the right kind of support and help.
