- Is there at least one unisex accessible WC provided in each location where toilets are available?
- Is the accessible WC close to the building entrance/ waiting area and of a suitable size for wheelchair turning?
- Is there a cubicle available for ambulant disabled people in single-sex WC areas?
- Are there slip resistant floors throughout?
- Are the doors to the accessible WC and ambulant disabled WCs outward opening?
- Are the doors capable of being opened from the outside in an emergency?
- Are the surfaces contrasting in colour with the sanitaryware?
- Is there an emergency assistance pull cord and is it linked to a staff area?
- Are there drop down grab rails either side of the toilet?
